Birth, reporting a birth (Geboorte, aangifte)

You must report the birth of a child to the municipality in which the child was born within three working days. The father or the mother must report the birth. If neither the father or the mother can report the birth, a person who was present at the birth may report the birth. You can report the birth either online or at the desk.
